Everything you need to know about Superbuy Quality Check photos — what to look for, how to request them, and when to reject items.
What is a Superbuy QC Photo?
When your item arrives at Superbuy's warehouse in China, warehouse staff photograph the item in detail before storing it. These QC (Quality Check) photos let you inspect your purchase before deciding to ship it internationally. If you see a defect or inaccuracy, you can request a return/exchange — saving you from receiving a disappointing item after a 2-week wait.
QC photos typically include front, back, side views, close-ups of logos, tags, soles (for shoes), and packaging. You can request additional angles by adding notes on the QC request form.
Complete QC Checklist
Logo & Branding
Check every logo, wordmark, and tag for spelling errors, size, position and color. Compare to legit reference photos from StockX or GOAT.
Shape & Silhouette
Verify the overall shape matches retail. For shoes: toe box, heel cup, midsole thickness. For clothing: cut, fit, panel layout.
Color Accuracy
Match colors to multiple reference photos. Note: camera lighting can shift colors. Request natural-light photos if colors look off.
Stitching & Construction
Look for loose threads, uneven stitch lines, glue residue, and panel misalignment. These are the most common factory defects.
Tags & Labels
Inner garment tags, hang tags, insole labels, and box labels. Check text size, font, alignment and barcode placement.
Packaging
For shoes: verify box label colorway, size, and model match. For clothing: check poly bag folding and hang tag position.
Materials & Texture
Ask sellers about specific material details. For shoes, check sole unit texture, upper material grain, and toe box stiffness.
Serial Numbers & Authenticity Tags
Some items include serial tags. Verify numbers are present and match the product. Check NFC chip placement if applicable.
